After a five-year residency in General/Trauma surgery and completing board certification, Dr. Felice wanted to combine his artistic passion, with a desire to help patients feel comfortable within their own bodies. It was then, he went on to complete his Plastic Surgery training, obtaining his second board certification and started his private practice in 1990.

Dr. Felice’s background is broad. The son of a stone mason, he was raised to understand the value of hard work and ethical behavior. He has played musical instruments since the age of 5 and enjoys oil painting. His artistic background has given him an appreciation for nature; always striving to achieve natural results for his patients.

His greatest joy is the expression of happiness his patients share upon completion of their procedures. Maintaining ongoing relationships with his patients is of tremendous value to him and gives him continued joy in his work. Dr. Felice has been married to the love of his life, Cathy, for over 40 years. They have 3 children, 2 sons in law, and one daughter in law. The family has now grown to include 3 grandsons.

Nancy graduated from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She joined Youthful Images in 1997 as Clinical Administrator, prior to which her background had been in oncology, nurse consulting and hospital administration. She has been a Board Certified Nursing Executive since 1998 and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses, The CT Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers/Patient Safety Organization as well as the National Association of Professional Women. Nancy is responsible for patient education, development and implementation of clinical protocols and procedures, as well as being an active member of the operating room team. One of her main roles is overseeing patient care and assisting patients through the surgical process. By answering questions and providing all the necessary information needed to make an informed decision, patients can then determine if plastic surgery is right for them. Every surgical patient meets with Nancy preoperatively, so she can further explain the procedure, review preparation for surgery, as well as what to expect postoperatively. In the operating room, Nancy’s role is to ensure the highest level of care is maintained throughout the surgical process. Her follow-up continues after discharge, where she speaks to every surgical patient the first night after their surgery to answer questions, review postoperative care or just offer reassurance. Patients can feel comfortable contacting Nancy with any questions or concerns they may have regarding their procedure. This attention to patient care is what we feel sets Youthful Images apart from other practices.

Ali received both her undergraduate and graduate education from Quinnipiac University. She spent several years practicing as a Physician’s Assistant in emergency medicine and the urgent care setting before joining Youthful Images. A CT native, Ali has always been passionate about plastic surgery and aesthetics. She loves empowering others and helping them to feel good in their own skin. Kelsey is a registered nurse here at Youthful Images whose position includes performing non-surgical services, assists Dr. Felice with office visits and scrubs within our operating room on surgical days . She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the UConn CEIN program in 2018 as well as has earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Hartford in 2015. Kelsey has worked in various fields of nursing during here career including postpartum nursing, labor and delivery, and circulating within the operating room for orthopedic surgeries. Her passions outside of work include hiking with her two dogs and fiancé as well as enjoying time at the lake on her family boat in warmer weather.

Joan joined Youthful Images in December 2011. A native of RI, she moved to San Diego in 1982 where she graduated from the Cabrillo School of Nursing with a Certificate in Medical Assisting. She also attended National University with an emphasis in Business Administration. She returned to New England in 1993 making CT her home. She has worked in a variety of medical practices including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Hand Surgery, and most recently an Eye Center.
